Dr. Brown is a founding member of the NAN Student and Post-Doctoral Resident Committee (NANSPRC). He ultimately became Chair of the NANSPRC in 2017 and currently serves as Immediate Past Chair. He earned his doctorate in clinical psychology and completed internship training with a focus in clinical neuropsychology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Brown is currently a second-year clinical neuropsychology postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Neurology at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville. Clinically, he performs neuropsychological evaluations in a broad range of adult populations. His research interests focus on better understanding cognition in the contexts of normal aging, mild cognitive impairment, and dementia.
