Briana joined the NAN Student and Post-Doctoral Resident Committee in 2016. She is currently training at the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada in the Clinical Psychology doctoral program with an emphasis in neuropsychology. She will be completing her pre-doctoral internship at Vancouver Coastal Health. Her research interests are focused on understanding how neurocognitive and social cognitive processes are impacted by neurological and neuropsychiatric illnesses. She is also interested in examining interventions designed to remediate cognitive deficits. Particular populations of interest include dementia, acquired brain injury, and severe mental illness.
